Admit it Paul, you stole that from an email posted by Abraham Lincoln in 1866 didn't you?

Love this thread, finally.

As an amateur and as a longtime pro, I have owned, used and loved my gear from Kodak, Polaroid, Miranda, Pentax, Olympus, Yashica, Mamiya, Paubel, Deardorff, Hasselblad, Bronica, Panasonic, Fuji, Nikon, Leica, Canon, Sony, Sigma, Tamron, Meike, Godox, Flashpoint, Paul C. Buff, Metz, Vivitar and more.

They are all tools to be used and enjoyed as you exercise your creative vision.

Cheers and best to you all.

Same here. I currently regularly shoot a Nikon Z7, Olympus OM-1 and Sony RX10MIV. I also occasionally shoot an Olympus TG-6 and a full spectrum converted Panasonic GH2. They all bring certain things that I enjoy in different situations.

Yogi wrote a book titled "The Yogi Book". He was famous for his "Yogi-isms". You can go online for a wider variety. Here are just a few: "I really didn't say everything I said" "When you come to a fork in the road, take it" "It's like déjà vu all over again" "No one goes there nowadays, it's too crowded" "Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't go to yours" "I usually take a two-hour nap from one to four" "You can observe a lot just by watching" "Never answer an anonymous letter" "Slump? I ain't in no slump...I just ain't hittin" AND here's the one I had in mind when I answered Paul... "Baseball is ninety percent mental and the other half is physical".
Yogi wrote a book titled "The Yogi Book"... (show quote)

One of my favorites that sounds like Yogi but was actually George H.W. Bush was:
“I have opinions, strong ones, but I don’t necessarily agree with them.”

That has always been my "remark" to those that ask me, "Why have you been looking thru a camera, most of your life?" (So what do I do with over 2000 35 mm slides, and ten boxes of photographs from over 7 decades?

Life, just fascinates me. Capturing "a moment" that will never come around again.
People, are just the most fascinating creatures to photograph. You never know what they will do next to surprise the rest of the population.

Keep on shooting!

That one clearly shows the difference between Bushisms and Yogiisms.

Me ?? 40 ??!? If I wrote that then it was a typo. I have no reason to exagerate and claim 40 when the real number is actually no less ridiculous at 19.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1/3 of the 19 are "semi-retired" SLRs and should find new homes with "their kind of people". Theres a few retired old Sonys as well. I figger the real keepers are only about 10 cameras. Across all 3 formats, 10 is almost halfway reasonable.
You got fingers like mine? Mine always kicks the key to the left on my phone.
