Morning, Larry. And thanks for another Free Sunday.... yesterday was Maine Light House Day with a number of Lighthouses open to the public. Portland Head Light, known to some of you, was open to 300 people by ticket. I could not climb the 85 stairs (bummer) but my daughter did. It was a wonderful day to be at the coast. Haven't had time to really "work" these yet so most are SOOC. The Light house was commissioned under George Washington, construction began in 1786 (maybe 1789) and began working in 1791. In 2002 it was placed on the National Registry of historic Places.

Always a pleasure To See Your posts Larry. You've got some Puffins in that Bird Image, Cool!!

The Captain of the boat looked for gatherings of birds like those. It was a tell tale happening that a whale or whales were feeding and we’d have a good chance to catch one breech the surface. The birds were cool too!😎

Where is this? It's the most interesting photo I digitized this week but I don't recall where I took it. No wonder; it's from the summer of 1965. It looks like an Eastern Europe scene. Most probably I took it in Czechoslovakia, but northern Yugoslavia and Hungary are possibilities. The architecture looks German and reminds me of Münster but I didn't get there till the fall of '74.

Well it’s that time again. Free Sunday has arrived and you are invited to post any leftovers from previous challenges on this thread or any new creations you think we will enjoy. I’ll get it started with some of this and some of that.

At one time early in life, I was a draftsman and engineering technician. About 50 years ago. Your photo brings back fond memories. Nice shots

First one kind of looks like Old Bedford Road we lived on in Concord while in the AF there at Hanscom Field. The neighbor across the street had a small farm with a vegetable stand that drew a crowd on weekends.👍👍

Getting old can do that to us, but at least you’re still able to piece a few the dates together. It kind of puts the mind in the in the near geographic area at least ❗️❗️👍👍👍
