Morning, Larry. And thanks for another Free Sunday.... yesterday was Maine Light House Day with a number of Lighthouses open to the public. Portland Head Light, known to some of you, was open to 300 people by ticket. I could not climb the 85 stairs (bummer) but my daughter did. It was a wonderful day to be at the coast. Haven't had time to really "work" these yet so most are SOOC. The Light house was commissioned under George Washington, construction began in 1786 (maybe 1789) and began working in 1791. In 2002 it was placed on the National Registry of historic Places.

I enjoyed these, have been inside lighthouses in Connecticut and Ohio and Michigan.
