Go down near (not close) the lake at night and shine a flashlight around the edges of the water and see how many white pairs of eyes you see...... I did this camping at Moss Park. Lake Jessup in Sanford has a bunch also.
Safe to say EVERY lake in Florida has at least ONE gator in it.
Thanks, Ken! Every time I think I have this place figured out, I get surprised. It was like the "Rave" but with fewer birds and LOTS more Gators! And a bunch of BIG Bruisers!! I would bet that there were at least 150 gators in the immediate area, many of them really big!

Thanks! I don't doubt it a bit! What surprised me, beyond the numbers was the SIZE! Some of them were huge! And not just a few either.
Sure is a bunch of them in one place. Great captures.
Yes, there were. And I think that's what had them so stirred up! There were big splashes everywhere but really hard to catch the action. I'm glad you liked them NMGal!
Wow - Gator soup! Was this at the pump house pond?
No, it was on the straight-a-way past the pump house before the "T" where Crooked Neck hangs out. And you're right Gator Soup! With BIG pieces of Gator!!
