The first of the Snowy is lovely. Wish there was something similar in the Tucson area.

I've been through Gilbert a few times over the years travelling with the RV. Never stopped longer than to buy Diesel. I guess I should have! I agree that the Snowy Egret in a VERY well done photograph! It would be on a wall if it were mine.

It is. Thank you.

Believe it or not, we do have water in AZ. The town of Gilbert, where I live, has a beautiful water preserve used to filter ground water and be a haven to water fowl and other flying creatures. What makes it great is it is totally flat, lots of walking trails, not crowded and free. https://www.gilbertaz.gov/departments/parks-and-recreation/riparian-preserve-at-water-ranch
If you ever find yourself in Gilbert, 30 miles east of Phoenix, stop by. You won't be disappointed.

Nice shots - I like the lovebirds!

I've been to the Riparian Preserve many times - what a great place! It not only has year-round bird residents, but is a migratory stopover for many more. 300 different species of birds have been observed there. Here's a link for a little more information:

Are the lovebirds nesting in the big saguaros near the main parking lot?
