Believe it or not, we do have water in AZ. The town of Gilbert, where I live, has a beautiful water preserve used to filter ground water and be a haven to water fowl and other flying creatures. What makes it great is it is totally flat, lots of walking trails, not crowded and free. https://www.gilbertaz.gov/departments/parks-and-recreation/riparian-preserve-at-water-ranch If you ever find yourself in Gilbert, 30 miles east of Phoenix, stop by. You won't be disappointed.

I've been through Gilbert a few times over the years travelling with the RV. Never stopped longer than to buy Diesel. I guess I should have! I agree that the Snowy Egret in a VERY well done photograph! It would be on a wall if it were mine.
