I was just lining up the shot when two deer wandered in. I hoped to wait them out or even get a shot with everyone. But low light and uncooperative wildlife conspired against me. Eventually the fox left and the young buck gave me the evil eye. I post some frustrating examples that don't include the fox indiscreetly licking himself or deer bodily functions. Ah the wonders of wildlife photography.

He’s right of course, it’s not all soaring eagles or wildebeests crossing the Mara, especially when you live in NJ. ) Thanks for the view.

He was doing more then that but I couldn’t post it. The fox was actually startled a little by the deer and looking at them. I was behind cover so I could change angles or they would see me.

Light and wild temperaments aside you did a great job with what you had! Thanx for sharing!

Great buck in velvet shot is my thought for a silver lining, I get your frustration. Patience and perserverance will pay dividends eventually!
