Hot week in CT, our Springers needed to cool off

No field training during these during these hot weeks in CT for our Springers. So how do they get their exercise and keep them honoring my commands? Take them swimming / retrieving to the Salmon river. Unless it rains substantially soon, the river may just stop flowing. I haven't seen the water in this river, this low, in my entire life. Let it rain please!!!
