Reminded me of Menominee River on the western side of Michigan UP. Visited that river near Wallace, Mi. It has been a few decades I've been up there where a friend had a farm. At that time, was able to look down five and a half feet through clear water. Could distinguish my toes on the floor of the river.
Sadly, water pollution is still of great concern due to mining interests in the region.

Good shots. Haven't been there since I stationed at K.I. Sawyer AFB in the late 70's . BTW that isn't water pollution in the photos... it's natural tannins from Mother Nature coloring the water.
