If you like "living on the edge", I suggest you check out Rim Road (F.R. 300) in Arizona. This road follows the SW edge of the Colorado Escarpment, also known as the Mogollon Rim. I had a near life changing event the day I was on this road.

Great shots! Glad you're around to post after that "near life changing event"!

Great shots. Arizona is very interesting and scenic country.
We were headed east along the rim road (the road is scraped gravel and not wide enough for two vehicles to pass. The road is very popular with 4 wheel off road vehicles as well.) As we were coming around a blind corner, some IDIOT contractor in a white truck of some kind came from the opposite direction, he was poking around on his cell phone! There are NO guard rails or shoulders on this road. Average vertical drop is 500 feet. We were in a full size Toyota Tundra and on the edge. Natural reaction would have been to swerve to avoid a collision. Fortunately my buddy's dad had the sense to turn away from the edge. We stopped less than three feet from the idiot's truck! I could not get of that road too soon. On the other hand the views are spectacular!!!

For something like this I could understand "Road Rage"
Beautiful images - glad you okay!

Beautiful! When my knees were younger I hiked a trail that went up the rim - it was a really nice hike - at the bottom was a spring that came out of the rocks with the power of a fire hydrant.
What a tail. Glad that nothing happened.
