Lake Apopka, Florida. Early this Friday morning. GBH with a snake. It took him a long time to get him down the hatch, but that gave me a lot of photo opportunities!

Outstanding, Chief. My favorite bird images are those of them feeding. I have seen Great Blues eat everything from Red-Winged blackbirds to huge fish and snakes.

Thanks, Ken. Never seen them eat a bird, but yeah, Fish, Snakes and have a photo of one with a really big Frog and with some kind of Rodent. No doubt in my mind that they are descended from Dinosaurs!

Wow! Quite a video! I've seen them eat some big fish that I didn't think they would ever get down, but that's amazing!

Thank you, Jack. I have some shots from yesterday that I have questions about. Have you ever seen GBH's doing a mating display? It was pretty interesting, not sure it was a mating display. But there were two of them quite far apart but in sight of each other. I'll post a few photos. Yeah I like that first one too!
