The mirrorless lenses are hands-down better in every single model.
The mirrorless cameras have the newer / newest processors that will never be updated into the DSLRinosaurs.
DSLRinosaurs will never have IBIS.
DSLRinosaurs will never have silent shutters (electronic shutters with no mechanical parts).
Top MILC bodies, now even Canon's mid range mirrorless, have frames per second that run multiple laps around DSLRinosaurs stuck the tarpits.
Mirrorless have all the AF innovations never to be updated into DSLRinosaurs.
Mirrorless bodies can adapt any brand's SLR-mount lenses, enabling all sorts of lenses with IBIS and focus peaking technology for better results than ever on their legacy bodies.
It's not even a competition. If someone tells you they can't see the difference in an image from a mirrorless camera, they're lying.

I'm sure if you took a little time you could double this list. However, IMHO they are just words. You've obviously partaken of the Kool Aid so you truly believe what you're saying. If even half of your claims are true it should be very easy to post 5-6 photos taken with DSLR and mirrorless side by side.
I am admittedly the furthest thing from a professional photographer. So I am staunchly in the "Who Cares" camp.
However there a lot of very competent photographers among the hedgehogs that could give objective opinions on your claim.

Every item in that list is 100% true
and obvious. If you can't see it, simply try opening your eyes.

I’m not quite sure what you’re saying about posting 5-6 photos side by side. What are you getting at?

Now, starting with the Z9, they are without shutters as well. Do we have a new category called 'Shutterless'? Best of luck.
They are all real tools the quality of images Ansel Adams got have the quality of today all comes down to eye and skill of photographer
If Ansel Adams was the photographer worthy of that name, he'd do a better job Straight Out Of Camera like a Real Photographer.
My D850 will last me til I'm gone.

OH YES! They're different!
Never ends never the best for ever
It's the natural progression. Remember the TLR camera?

You can have all the mirrorless cameras you want. They are too expensive for me and I don't do enough photography anymore to warrant having one. My DSLRs will go to my kids and grandkids after I am gone. In the next life I won't need a camera.
Unfortunately, most people feel they don't need a camera for THIS life either.

Just as digital image replaced film mirrorless cameras will be all camera makers produce. That old SLR with a prism and mechanical mirror that must move out of the shutters way. For years SLRs were one of best. But now dethroned by technology mirrorless rules
When LCD display panels first came out, they had difficulty performing in cold environments. The technology used for EVFs has turned to LED or OLED. How do these technologies perform at temperature extremes? I personally haven't had any issues with any of my mirrorless cameras but I, also, have not used them in Antarctica. Camera manufacturers don't seem to provide much info on this subject.
My D3100 has a little lever to lock the mirror up. ? Does this count as MIRRORLESS?
IMHO, I somehow feel MIRRORLESS is taking me back to my Point & Shoot days.
You mean people joined in on a conversation on a social media web site!? Imagine that! What's the world coming to?

I appreciate your perspective, and agree with what you are saying about mirrorless. I own one mirrorless camera not full frame, because it was a good price, used and within my means. It seems that the full-frame, mirrorless camera, lens and accessories are all directed toward and priced toward the professional photographer, which I am not. I enjoy taking pictures and being creative within the hobby. I am not looking to make money on my photos either online or otherwise. Too bad the industry is outpricing just the plain enjoyment of the photography.
