I need a photo retoucher. I have a photo that I am having trouble processing. It is a sports team picture that will eventually be 5ft X 10ft. Can anyone help?

Do you have a scan of the photo to show us? A retoucher may find it difficult to work on the original if it's small, plus it might be possible to do a satisfactory job in post processing.

The photo was taken in raw and Jpeg. The original is 6621px-4414px taken with a Canon 5D mark IV. I had to reduce to 1000 by 664 to upload and post the picture.

If you check "Store Original" when you upload we'll have the full size image to view. It can be up to 22MB in a suitable format. I find that with DNG or TIFF, 2300 pixels on the long edge is usually about right.

First, you might want to crop this picture a lot. Much wasted area around the team.

Back in the day there were people who could use their painting skills to retouch photos, but apparently nowadays retouching applies to digital post processing work.
We need at least a full screen version to look at to form any useful opinions. The original apparently is quite large and waaaay too large to download to UHH, but 2300 pixels on the long side would be enough to get an accurate opinion on what's needed. In the absence of that, it's a question of which upsizer to recommend.

Send me the original RAW file via email to stuparr@stusplace.com and I'll give it a shot. Seems like a challenge at that size but would like to try....

Not necessary to retouch, but to enlarge to a very large size for printing…. OK?

I can crop to the size I need. That is not the problem. I can not get the background correct. The curtain is dirty and not uniform. When I work on it, it is very blotchy.

Upload the photo with the original as an attachment so we can see how we do. Or find a few folks to email it to so that they might try to fix the curtains. I THINK that might be an easy fix. I'll send a pm with my email.
