Looking forward to other of your seabird photos.

Thank you so much for a neat comment. I am hoping to post some today of more Snowy Egrets eating but I keep finding things to photograph around the house. So much to do and so little time. Thank God I am retired since I never had time when I was working.

Nice capture. Once on a fishing trip in Canada my fishing partner was wondering what the gull flying above had in its beak until he turned around to pick up his sandwich and saw it was gone.

Thank you JRiepe for taking a look and for your comment. I have had gulls come right down on a day fishing boat out of Santa Barbara and take fish when they thought they could get away with it. A good shotgun at the time would have been nice. Oh WAIT...

While I was watching a Snowy Egret look for food I spotted this Gull out of the corner of my eye pecking at something on the ground. Since I was getting no immediate action from the Snowy Egret I started paying attention to the Gull. Then he did it, poked his head down and brought this nice juicy, what looks like a type of crab. He spotted me and flew off to another area but still close behind some rocks. It was there I was able to capture these two photos. Another Gull was watching for a slip up but my Gull maintained control.

Please feel free to make any comments.
