looks like a beautiful place to have some fun, joe...the reflections are gorgeous!

Thank you merry, it was a very romantic place, particularly at the sunset like in this post, or just as much at sunrise the next day which I just posted today.

Thank you Fran for looking in on the travelogue and your kind comment. I minimally processed these images such a long time ago, and was actually thinking that this first image was a bit too dark, but you are right, as an opener it adds a bit of drama and mystery - now you made me even happier! Welcome to this tour Fran!

Glad you are happier...it's a great shot! It draws you in to continue to look

WoW, Joe! Following your Burma travelogue, I caught myself thinking that I would most likely not dare to go on such kind of venture because of number of reasons, including political instability, drastic cultural differences, comfort, age and health considerations, and many other things...Susan and yourself are really brave people, with strong personalities, and real commitment to embrace everything possible! I take my hat off...Bravo! And thank you for another exciting set!

Thank you Eugene for your kind comment. The context for the trip was quite ok in 2013 when we took this trip: The political situation was stable and promising, the Myanmar part of this trip was actually a private tour just for Susan and I, so we were very well and lovingly taken care of, excitement for new things to see was still very high for me, maybe a bit less so for Susan, but she is a good sport and chugs along with most of my sometimes out-of-the-way ideas - and we were still quite a bit younger - so it really was an extraordinary, quite long and very rewarding journey through these 4 countries. Thank you for your thoughts and comments!
