If it is a concern get one with a steel cable in it. B&H $25.00

Yeah, I have a PacSafe strap on my Sony A II.
It has steel cables in it. Can't be cut with a knife.

Another issue that applies to straps sold with cameras is that they can be a walking advertisement for the kind of camera they're attached to, like NIKON D850 screaming out in yellow. Thief bait.

I have had one break, but I happened to be gripping the camera at my side, so there was no droppage...

They don't just break! Straps have to be frayed over years of use for that to happen, it can be preventable with a simple inspection.

Never a problem with OP/Tech either!

I have used Optitech for years and have never had a Strap come lose to breaking, But I have had a "plastic" quick release connector fail for reasons unknown, but luckily never dropping the camera. I no longer use the quick release connectors.

I was shooting at the Botanical Gardens of North Carolina near Ashville. I engaged another photographer who was wearing his Nikon 850 strap and told him he needed to ditch that. I had him try on my 850 which is set up with an Op Tec shoulder strap (the kind that is curved to fit over one shoulder and across the body). He readily agreed it was far more comfortable and took a photo of it with his cell phone. I also encouraged him to dial in to our UHH and he felt he would do that as well.

I wouldn't worry about the strap, I'd worry about the connectors.
