More refineries...do any of you want those refineries to be anywhere near you and your property? The real problem with building new refineries is that no one wants a refinery to be anywhere near their own town and will convert to an anti-refinery activist to prevent it!

There seems to be some presumption that prices will decrease if we expand our refinery capacity and drilling. I’m not sure I follow that thought.

My son works for Dow, my daughter works for Conoco/Phillips. Hearing it directly from the sources....YES THEY are shutting down units for lack of product. Their entire refinery isn't closing as of yet, but they are laying off people since the workload has slowed down. If things proceed as they are now, it will only be a matter of time when the entire refinery will close. What the i***ts in the Biden administration haven't figured out is just about everything we touch on a daily basis is made with petroleum products.

back it up??? you can call both Dow and Conoco/Phillips. I'm sure they would be happy to explain all the whys and wherefores to you. My adult children have absolutely no reason to lie about what is happening at their jobs. Our conversation had no political context to it.
