It is so nice that you all think of members that you have not heard from in awhile. Warms my heart to see your kindness. Thanks

Donna (Dixiegirl) is another member who hasn't returned to UHH after a long period of inactivity.

And I really miss her.

Weren't Ed and his wife in a bad car accident? Could his absence be related to that, I wonder ?

Speaking of not seeing posts for awhile, what happened to the guy who always posted microscopic life in swamps, roots, etc?

Ed posted some of the best flower images I have ever seen. Hope he returns soon.
If anyone hears anything concerning Dixiegirl, (Donna), please post.

No one is getting any younger and regardless of what one thinks of another's point of view, sarcasm or just plain great captures, they are missed by their abscence. Look at Brent Harder for example, judging by his pic I thought he was a young guy... Better get your clicks in today... Your battery might be out of juice tomorrow !

On a similar note I have been wondering about two other members that regularly posted photos on this site and have not been heard from for awhile. I have sent personal messages to each and have yet to receive a response. These members are Indrajeet Singh who posted wonderful bird and wildlife photos from his home country of India and Dook from Australia who enjoyed taking photos using a drone. Does anyone have any information about either of these members?

Mr. Singh passed away last year. You can do a search on UHH’s site here. There were many posts. Dook passes quite awhile b fore that.

I knew about Dook. I didn't know about Mr. Singh. That's lamentable.

Many of us are moving up the line on "death row" with a camera hanging from the neck.

We are all connected on this forum digitally and at least some of us are connected with others intellectually or emotionally. I believe that for many folks, UHH is more about having a connection with other people than it is about photography. I don't have a solution for letting people on this site know the status of individual members. Perhaps we could ask someone close to us to send a message to UHH. Maybe others have additional ideas. A member I remember, but haven't seen for a long time is Blacks who had wonderful images from the western mountains.
