We are talking about Nikon refurbished equipment, not canon. Stop trying to scare people off. Give it a rest.

You seem to have some difficulty reading: Refurbished can be a great value-purchase.

How much slower should I say that?

R- e - f - u - r - b - i - s - h - e - d - - c - a - n - - b - e - - a - - g - r - e - a - t - - v - a - l - u - e - p - u - r - c - h - a - s - e.

Guess the kiddie table is above your reading level? We don't normally let the toddlers eat alone though.

You can knock off the childish posts and grow up. How about this stuff you posted; "A simple inspection checklist to confirm all the items that belong in the box are there, including wrapping and styrofoam, and that camera is ready to be resold as 'refurbish' at a reduced priced. It would make no economic sense to return it to a factory, or fix something broken, perform a detailed inspection, etc, and to then sell at less than new after all that economic value was added. If there's something wrong, the next customer can discover and return during the limited warranty".

Really, "no economic sense to return it to a factory, or fix something broken, perform a detailed inspection, etc". If there's something wrong, the next customer can discover and return during the limited warranty". Is that how Canon treats customers? I think Nikon is more concerned about their reputation than that. I don't think you would be very happy if you bought an item only to find out that there was something broken on it, and they told you it was re-furbished and working, but you can go through the process and trouble to return it to get it fixed.

Don't over-imagine what happens during a 'refurbish'.

Guess there's no convincing you about the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny either? Even with a 90-day warranty, down from the 1-year of purchasing new? Oh well. That's 90-days more than buying used too. Small thoughts fit easily into a closed mind, but big thoughts require an open one. Chew on that one today as you think about life and whether the refurbished topic is where you should be spending your valuable time.
