Cloudy where I live!!! Now that the clouds have cleared, there is only a sliver of a shadow on the moon. Appreciate the nice picture!

So I got ready to get some "eclipse shots". Tripod, camera settings all good, a chair to get comfortable, and there was just too much cloud! Stayed out in the yard for a couple of hours, and I began to get too cold, so I carefully packed everything away as usual. One more trip to the back yard to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything, and wouldn't you know it, gaps in the clouds, and there was the moon! (you have to have patience, and persevere) ! So all I had was my phone camera, and I got a couple of shots, but hand held, and shivering, and the images are not good enough to post. Oh well, at least I got something as a reminder, and learned a valuable lesson, (next time, take a hot flask of coffee)!
