Anyone have an environmentally responsible method for keeping the street walkers from infiltrating my bricks? I'm reluctant to saturate it with RoundUp if there's a better option.

...you won't get cancer from one or two Roundup applications. ;0) But *something* has to kill it!?

A propane burner will help some.

Try this recipe and apply it on a hot day, kills the grass quickly.

I've been using Wet and Forget to clean my patio and surrounding bricks. I mix it with water as directed and use a pump sprayer. No scrubbing needed - it does a great job of cleaning and killing mildew and weeds growing in the grout. I've been using this for several years and highly recommend it.

I've used this recipe on my paver patio and it works like a charm.

This one has crossed my mind but I'd be concerned that it might discolor the pavers.

Coolcameragirl is also a proponent of this recipe. My wife is more familiar with these ingredients so I guess I'll let her handle it.

I think bleach damages concrete and pavers.

The best... and hardest way... Pull up all the bricks. A layer of pea gravel or sand, then landscape fabric. Re-lay bricks, fill in spaces with dry Quickrete, then water.
Not what you were looking for, but it'll work.
