Anyone have an environmentally responsible method for keeping the street walkers from infiltrating my bricks? I'm reluctant to saturate it with RoundUp if there's a better option.

I've been using Wet and Forget to clean my patio and surrounding bricks. I mix it with water as directed and use a pump sprayer. No scrubbing needed - it does a great job of cleaning and killing mildew and weeds growing in the grout. I've been using this for several years and highly recommend it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0019KSUG6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The best... and hardest way... Pull up all the bricks. A layer of pea gravel or sand, then landscape fabric. Re-lay bricks, fill in spaces with dry Quickrete, then water. Not what you were looking for, but it'll work.
