Maybe think about calibrating your monitor. On mine (calibrated), most of these look rather garish, particularly the blues. No dig intended.

Thanks Nick.....I'll repeat....(no mistakes....it's style). On my monitor, the pics look as intense as I intended on this gray, overcast day.
Here's another example from the series....

Thanks Karin....(the contrast became greater over the lake as the weather/light started to change).

Hi UHH Friends. A few days ago, a good friend contacted me to accompany him to move his boat from the storage yard to the lake (Michigan). This is a semiannual (spring & fall) ritual in Chicago which interrupts street traffic for bridge streets that cross the river leading to the lake. It’s a long and fun tour, conducted only on Wednesdays and Saturday’s because of the bridge-lifts across…..(I know, been caught in that traffic and it’s a bomber). Oh, I also caught the return of Chicago’s flag ship, the “Windy” a 148’ schooner that had just returned to the city. Here’s a few (10) highlights from the down river spring trip:

Garish.
I started drawing with Crayons and learned that there was more subtlety with colored pencils.
Basic photographs are interesting and could be worth posting.

Thanks Boris, and maybe you should post some of your finer photo examples, or are you still using pencils

I do not post photos because I do not shoot subjects that would be of general interest. There are plenty of trees and flowers on line that look like mine. etc.
Secondarily I shoot totally in sRGB for prints. Despite that probably mucking up the color on line, I will post one photo (I like) to help mute your sense of color.

I like your images even though the color is saturated.
