Beautiful photos. I was there about 22 years ago and was astonished by the craftsmanship to build those magnificent buildings and churches. And they did it all without unions or power tools.

That it is. Best of all, it is done without the garish, in your face, overuse of gold. It is more like one might expect of a church where practice meets preaching.

Thank s for the visit and comments. About the power tools, the ancient Greeks pioneered in the use of waterwheels, so it is unlikely to have been done entirely without power tools. It still was a fine example of craftsmanship.
