Absolutely beautiful! I met the Von Trapp family when they visited my Catholic high school, too many years ago to remember the date, and way before the Sound of Music came out.

That must have been something special. In reverse order, the movie was released in 1965, the original Broadway show opened in 1959, and Maria's book was published in 1957.
