OUTSTANDING! All, But the Dragonfly is marvelous! I wish I had "bad luck" like that more often!

Was out by the lake the other day taking pictures of what looked interesting. Came upon an owl and a cardinal, and then sat down to get some images of a great blue heron that was flying by about forty yards away. Just about to get AF lock on it, and a dragonfly flew right into the middle of my view finder, and the AF got a lock on the dragonfly instead. I have tried to capture hundreds/thousands of pictures of dragonfly's in flight, but they all failed for one reason or another. This one was pure luck - so I will take it.

Olympus EM-1 Mk III with f4/300mm prime.

Enjoy!

All of the shots are great.

Favorite shot, to me , is the X-Wing from Star Wars (third Dragonfly shot).

Everyone a great photo. The DIFs are pretty special with four lace wings beating.

All of your images are great, but that Cardinal is unbelievable.
