Hey you Loc: Tampa Florida

I am looking for a wide angle lens that can be used on camera Cannon T3i ........... Here's the hard part... I want to have one that I don't have to keep changing. I go from wanting a close up, a macro, a horizon, etc...... changing is pain in the tush ..... Is there anything out there that may work ??? thanks ..... P.S. I am not into a business of photography ....... I just want to use my camera as much as possible and find changing the lens a hassle based on my love for multiple types of pics in one shoot........

If I understand your question correctly, you want a lens that will provide shots throughout the gamut of focal lengths. Try the 18 - 200:

Cheaper used at B & H Photo

For the price of a lens buy a Nikon P510 range from about 22mm to 1000mm and no lens change... Why did you buy a DLSR?

Canon SX50 bridge camera will get you what you want all in one package, no lens to change, 24mm-1200mm optical zoom.

Or the Canon SX40 or SX50? Whichever one feels the most comfy in your hands. Both will give you what you want and more.

if you want wide angle you dont have much choice with a dx get a 10 or 11to 24mm zoom, then if you have the dough get a
24to 150 mm or 24-100mm.i dont know how wide you want . but
10mm or 11mm is wide for your camera,18mm is not that wide closer to a normal lens almost. its like a 27mm on one of the old film cameras. you may already know this . but im thinking if you have to ask that question you are a new bee. just go out and get the close to as you can to the 18-200mm lens you will love it

oh you want a micro also. start saving get one that is at least 80mm preferably more if you can afford it other wise wait tell you can. dont go and get a short macro like 40mm or 60mm.
its a waste really. you will want something bigger soon enough.
