Is growing up quickly!
My wife and I had an agreement. The ratio of cats to dogs should be 3:1 and with two cats, one being elderly(grumpy) we hadn't wanted to get any more animals until we had to say goodbye to the old Puzz!
Last fall this little kitten(feral) shows up at our house and seemingly adopts us. She was purring and making "cookies" with her front paws, in the grass just outside the fence, saying, "Hey! Look how cute and adorable I am!" Our two cats were calm and welcoming to her on the inside of our fenced area out back. This adorable little thing wiggled her way through the wire under our deck and lived there for a couple weeks. She eventually got the courage up to be handled by my wife and son after eating her dinner one night. We brought her in, quarantined her until the veterinarian could see her about a week later. She's microchipped, spayed and vaccinated on her first trip to the vet and we feel so fortunate that she chose us! Now about a year old she towers over the other two cats and plays, cuddles and makes us laugh so much with her antics!!! Thank goodness for Karma!

The old Puzz! We adopted her the day she was taken to a shelter by her previous owner, lucky us and Puzz!

Thanks so much Mike! I hope your crew wasn't too offended by all the catness!
I so look forward to my next dog but there's no rush since it'll break Gen's heart to loose her Puzz....
I'm 100% sold on rescue animals from now on!

Right?! I couldn't agree more about them looking like cousins or even siblings! Congratulations on your new fur baby, Linda!

A heartwarming series.
Thanks so much for taking a moment to comment. We have a couple more "outdoor" cats that rely on us but they don't seem to play well with our indoor kitties..:-(
Alas, we put food out in the morning and pull it in at night before racoons have at it. I should get some picture of them one of these days and include them in our "family".
