Permanence and decay...
The ancient Mission Mountains stand silent sentinel to the structure, usefulness long outlived and returning to nature. One of my favorite subjects, captured after our last little snow...

I disagree. The decay in the mountains is just a little longer than the barn. But it is a wonderful picture.

Superb photo! Interesting subject, and beautiful setting, especially with the contrasting snow.
Subject matter aside, what does it for me are the bands of similar but separate colors/tones, horizontally arranged, each with equal weight and each complimenting the tone that's adjacent and the color that forms its opposing correlate.
'Nuther words, good stuff, Tommy.
<edit:> Oh, and I left out the diagonals! The diagonals do it, too!
Good find as usual, very nice capture You have this old structure business to an art
Great Photo, all of the dimensions were there.

Gorgeous landscape shot. The contrast between the mountains and the foreground is great. I love the composition. Outstanding work.
Now that's awesomeness
