I have a screening system on my land line that filters out almost all of them, but I've started getting them on my cell now. Told today's caller that if they thought I was too stupid to have responded to one of the 3 USPS communications they claimed to have sent me, they weren't a company I would want to do business with even if I was interested in the service.
With all the complaints and disgust about scam and robo calls, why not try to start a class action suit against each and every phone company for allowing the spoofing of phone numbers used for robo calls? i am convinced that the telephone companies could put an immediate halt to robo calls and spoofed numbers.
The basis for the suit could be the interruption and time waste due to the calls along with the frustration of listening to the inappropriate subject matter of the calls. Also, the amount of money that is scammed from people would be lessened and many crooks might be discovered and put out of business by being placed in prison where they belong. Law suits have been leveled and won for less convincing reasons.
To bad that the citizen has no other recourse.

In my opinion, the SPAM call issue will never be solved as long as the phone companies and/or cell providers can make money from the callers. I'm no expert, but I believe it would be a simple matter for the phone companies to identify the Spammers and shut them down.

I have to carry two phones and I average about 6 calls a day.
I’m sorry to say but Facebook has become the best tool for scammers. You can buy large TVS for a $1 and just about anything you need from Walmart (with out their consent) or any other major stores that scammers somehow are using their names dirt chip, but that doesn’t mean you will receive the item, or you will get a picture of the item you have paid for. Even if you use PayPal or other secure method of payment. If any of our readers need to know my personal experience I will be happy to share with you in this forum.
