Thanks Dan, from what I was able to find it looks like Bannack was used in at least 7 films, but it was not dedicated to being a Hollywood set if that's your question. It is an actual town founded during the gold rush days, and survived for a short while after most all gold was found and mined. Few stayed there after that but eventually all left, and this is now what remains of it. There are multiple buildings, homes, town hall, church, saloons, etc, and most all can be walked through.
