Lol, I think it left out about a dozen steps! Like having to log-in more than once (repeat all steps yet again, after having done everything multiple times)!

I totally agree - I have just had to go through the painful and totally unnecessary process of Authenticating my Google account - all of the details they already had and they seem to be obsessed with recounting horror stories about hundreds of people stalking the internet waiting to pounce on my Google account and using the information gleaned for nefarious purposes despite me never having had that experience.

I've never had to authenticate my Google account. Are you sure that you didn't give all of your information to one of those stalkers you mention?

I once had a company call me and insist I provide info they had to have to call me. I told them no, that they knew the info or they could not have called. Answer we have to ask. I believe they eventually stated this was stupid, I told them it sure was and hung up.
I was told by a doctor just recently that they can't access their own medical test data if done by another doctor, they will be fired if caught!
