A bushwhack, a scramble, and so much mud that my hiking boots spent the night on the deck. The place --a rare desert spring-- is obscure in an equally obscure area. Where, exactly, is unimportant.
Forgive, however, the similarity between three of these four images; it's something I'd typically consider poor editing --in the sense of what image(s) to include -vs- what image(s) not to include-- to describe a place. But the challenges involved, both in the bushwhack and in the shooting/processing challenges required --multi-image focus stacks and stitched 'panos'-- that similarity may hopefully be justified.
I really like the second one.

That's a great set, Jim! I too, really appreciate #2, but they're all quite enjoyable!

I like #2 looks like an abstract painting 👍
I must join the crowd in picking #2, but the set is beautiful, Jim. At least you guys have enough moisture to create mud.
These are all nice, and the second one is my winner.

While the whole set is quite beautiful, the second is exquisite. I really hope you either display it some way or sell it.
I like them all, because I can tell I'd really like that place.
I like the character of the place established in 1, 3 and 4, which together showcase 2. Thanks for sharing the story behind these.
