Very nice!! I like #1 over #2 because I think the tree branches coming in from the top corner and the grass on the bottom corner gives more to the photo. The second one seems a little desolate in comparison but is still a nice photo. I like the texture of #3. Have you tried this as a B&W? Nice work on the pano.

Excellent set, Kathy! Your efforts remind me that getting up early is not the only way to get good light.

So true, Mike. So true. Thanks.

Thanks, Dodie. I agree with you. It is probably desolate by many standards. Here it's just a clear view. The trunk is almost pure b&w. I did think about it. Probably will, eventually.

make up for a beautiful picture! I went out to the Granite Reef on Bush Highway north of Mesa, AZ in the late afternoon to get images of this beautiful mountain. I usually shoot it in the morning, but today I chose afternoon to get different shadows.

I have frequently tried to get photo merges, but none of them ever work quite right. I tried again. I had to do a little bit of "fixing," but I think this one might be worth saving.

Beautiful landscapes, Kathy. I have been to Arizona several times, but never to that area.

Thank you, Joe. That pano actually worked! Thanks to LR and its magic. The individual shots were hand-held, so I was pleased that they combined so nicely. The one I missed was at the west end of the mountain. Unfortunately, I took it last instead of first. Then I didn't know how to get it in the right sequence for the pano.
