80 Degrees, Crystal Blue Skies, and a Mountain

make up for a beautiful picture! I went out to the Granite Reef on Bush Highway north of Mesa, AZ in the late afternoon to get images of this beautiful mountain. I usually shoot it in the morning, but today I chose afternoon to get different shadows.
I have frequently tried to get photo merges, but none of them ever work quite right. I tried again. I had to do a little bit of "fixing," but I think this one might be worth saving.

Thanks, Bruce. It's Red Mountain that's located north of Mesa. It stands on the reservation, but one can get to nearly all sides of it from different viewpoints. This one happens to be along the Salt River.

Thanks. That's one mesquite that's quite old. They have recently trimmed a lot of the mesquites, and this came to light. I loved the pattern.
