This is the third and last set covering the "Five Flower Lake". I repeat the information I provided in the initial post on this lake:
FIVE FLOWER LAKE (五花海 - Wǔhuā Hǎi), the pride of Jiuzhaigou, lies at the end of the upper reaches of the Peacock River at an altitude of 2472 m (8110 ft). It is surrounded with mountains, has a depth of 5 m (16 ft) and the lake-bed is visible under its clear water. The color of the lake varies from amber yellow, emerald green, dark jade to light turquoise, with a hint of coral, but, most of the time the water is sapphire blue. It is mesmerizing to observe. The place is shrouded in secrets and mysteries. While neighboring lakes periodically dry up, the water level in the Five Flower Lake is always constant and the lake does not freeze in winter, thus local residents consider it to be a holy lake. However, there is a rational explanation for it: The water contains lime, calcium carbonate and multicolored hydrophytes, additionally an underwater hot spring flows into the lake.
This final set on the Five Flower Lake mainly concentrates on smaller views and more artistic details that popped up as we strolled around this fantastic lake.
