Anyone can break into the containers you don’t need any special tool to do it as all the have is a lead or plastic seal, god forbid you would put a real lock on the container, or better yet an explosive device that unless you knew the combination it would spray a red unwashable die all over the thief wouldn’t be hard to find them would it.

And I thought Ca. had the perfect society whereby the citizens didn't have to resort to that type of thing .

P.S. My car was broken into in Sept. at the G G bridge . Don't visit Ca.

One sad thing that happens in our society--A train robber can fall under a wheel and get his leg cut off. Then he can sue the RR Company, claiming they were negligent in protecting him from injury. In todays courts, he would probably win a big settlement. Just like the woman who spilled her coffee and then sued McDonalds. She won.

Perhaps we will soon see the resurgence of the "Pinkerton Agents" that rode the trains of old and shot and killed those that attempted to rob the trains and track down those that robbed and got away.

By the way, trains are part of the "interstate transportation network" that carries goods across state lines. It's a Federal Offense to rob a train so....Where's the Fed's and when will they start taking action? Of course, no action is acceptance of criminal action AND...where more than one individual is involved in the scheme it becomes "organized crime" and again, far different rules apply....if they are pursued that is.
Perhaps we will soon see the resurgence of the &qu... (show quote)

The fed is only interested in stopping the ones that will help to push their agenda. Otherwise, anything goes. It is called selective enforcement. Like with the Mexican border.

The police used such a device to find a thief of the locker room when I worked at K Mart.

Yes, I saw that on YouTube. What a mess. That's a tough problem to solve. The train stops, and the thieves enter.

The railroad is now considering ceasing all shipping from California due to massive loss of merchandise. And no help from the trucking industry as vaccine mandates in Canada and the US will soon prevent ~35-40% of truckers from delivering freight loads.

I find it unbelievable how quickly folks want to use deadly force to slow property crimes. Is this who we've become? Does no one think we might be wiser to look at the causes of these problems? I feel this is the same mindset that causes so many global conflicts, ie: violence is the response of choice to other hatred and violence rather than a sober look at what caused the initial hatred and violence. We are called the "great Satan" for a reason, folks. Look at our history of abhorrent actions throughout history, usually in order to exploit the resources of other countries and to hell with what that means for the native populations. My 2 cents.

Slapping them on the back of the hand and saying "Bad form" doesn't seem to be working real well......

As for the cause of the problem: some people want stuff for free (or to sell it for $) and have no regard for others, in as much as they'll just take what they want. They don't care about anything but themselves.

If only there was a way to slow the spread and end this deadly virus. If only we had a vaccine! Even effective masks would help, but apparently, all we can do is go about their lives as normal and wait for Covid to stop on its own. (No, I'm not being serious.)

The punishment should fit the crime. But some want no punishment and that does nothing to stop them either. A get out of jail free card is not the solution and only works in Monopoly.
As far as the Great Satan goes one should look at the source and the response. To me it is like the pot calling the kettle black. Their history is/has been no better and they are pushing an agenda to make themselves look better. And when they have the Caliphate and one of their Doctrines is to kill the infidel. Well, that speaks volumes. It is them calling us the great Satan justifies their actions. All societies have had their problems from the Romans killing the Jews along with Germany, killing many innocent people to the human sacrifices of the Mayans. And then we have abortions which some are trying to correct but the ones who yell foul are the ones who are endorsing abortions.
