Like the cars I didn't change much from 1950 to 1951.

Great photos of some beautiful cars! Had a 51 Ford Convertible, but not in that condition.

ALL of your car pics have been wonderful. I'm waiting patiently for the 1954's!

Another Great set. Love the 1951 Fords and the Hudson tank. Then you have the nearly forgotten Kaiser. Until these photos I had mostly forgotten about Kaiser, Frazer, and Henry Js.

Great series, thanks.
Some of the shots appear to be in the San Diego area?

Hudson had only one color for their cars and that was Grey. I remember my father had a Hudson Terraplane, then he went to the Hornet and finally to the Wasp. Only problem he had was with the engine was a stuck thermostat that caused the engine to overheat and the dealership would not stand back of the warranty.

1951, Took my driver's test in a Chevy Deluxe 4 door sedan. Passed, by the way. I remember the, "Step down into a Hudson." Great pictures.

49 to 51 Hudsons are called step downs because the floors were lower than the sills such that you had to step down to enter them

And had to climb up out of them.

Don't you wish you could walk into a dealer and buy cars that look like these, but with current power train and features too!

Beautiful cars. They appear to have been well taken care of.

Nice ones. A 1951 model myself. 👍

1951 was my year to grow up and fall in love. My family were Nash enthusiasts. They were very innovative and often ahead of the competition. Unfortunately Nashes are rarely seen in auto shows.
