It looks beautiful and I couldn’t resist a shot, as we drove over the bridge Bob stopped the car and I jumped out, ran along the bridge to get the best view, however I am too short to reach over the top of the bridge and squeezed a shot through the mesh links.
I have done posts on Whitby before on the Abbey Ruins and St.Mary’s Church which you can see in the distance.
For nearly 700 years, the 13th-century Gothic abbey has towered high above the town of Whitby.
The Church of Saint Mary is an Anglican parish church serving the town of Whitby and was built around 1110.
Canon 650D, 18-55mm lens.

What a great view! Perfect "marine" landscape....it has a "perfume" of Bretagne! Sure I will visit this city not too far away.
