Two years ago I posted a series of images titled Surgeons at Work. The photos were taken in the operating room during what used to be my day job. The series here is a corollary work showing just the hands of surgeons, nurses, and scrub techs doing what they do.

These are really quite gorgeous. Whites/highlights right on the money, luminous mids and shadow regions, texture and detail exactly where they're put to best use.

First and for most thank you for caring for us, sadly as I age I am acutely aware of the skill of surgeons and the self sacrifice you make to acquire your skills to that you can increase the quality of our lives.

Nice images. It was the best job in the world for 40 years. No complaints about the two images with the "dirty" gloves because they were working. 
Looked like a interesting belly case in #2. I swear I could hear the "Beeps" and smell the Bovie while looking at them. Thanks for taking me back.
