Looking at these pictures now, 8 years later with much more processing experience, I definitely see the possibility of improving many of these images. However, I vowed not to touch these photos and present them just as I originally finished them. I hope you will enjoy the images of this vibrant and colorful show which I will present over the next three days.

The far eastern countries' cultural performances are always spectacular and sometimes downright mind blowing, and the multicolored stage lighting make photography a real challenge. It took me way too long and a whole lot of wasted exposures before eventually getting my keepers. You nailed them quite well.

Thank you Kip, I have to admit I enjoyed these kind of shows from the moment I set foot in Hong Kong in 1968, a highlight at that time was the show at the Oceania Restaurant in the then newly opened Ocean Terminal - but that was without the light show which puts this production at this place here into an entirely new dimension. Thanks for your kind comment.
