I could find no example of what JohnLutz might feel is a superior photograph. Not one by himself or another Fstopper. Could he just be an F-ing T-roll.

While less than articulate and definitely annoying he's not really wrong. Often times when I look through the posted images in the Photo Galley I can't believe it either. However, his short rant would have more meaning if he had actually posted a few "great" photos he has taken for us all to critique.

Probably because not everyone has graduated to an excellent photographer yet. Myself included!
Still doesn't warrant being derogatory. Just move on if you don't care for the shot(s)....

UHH serves novice and beginner photographers as well as snapshooters. They desire in common to take pictures of subjects that they like and that they believe may interest others.
On the other hand, experienced photographers visit the UHH Web-site and offer useful suggestions from their involvement with photography.
