An f/4.5-5.6 prime? Interesting...
Are there two different models?
Say for 50mm primes most manufacturers have made many between F 1.2 - 2.8. Though I would never write "prime 50mm f/1.4-2.0". Makes no sense.

They have earned their good reputation. No problems for me either.

Do any of you Hoggers have experience buying a used lens from MPB.com?
How would you rate your experience with them? A friend of mine is looking for a Canon EF 400mm 4.5-5.6 prime lens he saw one advertised from them on Canon Price Watch.com

Another satisfied customer here. Both bought and sold.
just found them ordered and it's here with in a week, prices are great.
Just recieved a canon 55-250 efs mount lens for my son. It was priced the same as some of the offerings on ebay but comes with a much more generous return policy. The lens was rated ex. and what I recieved was a lens that looked almost new and works perfectly. This particular lens even had a canon lens hood which is an extra included for the same price as the same lens without one. I opted for free shipping and recieved the lens in about 6 days. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.
I have purchased both cameras and lenses from them. Excellent service and accurate descriptions of the product. It’s my vendor of choice for used equipment.

MPB is as good as it gets.
Have used them twice. No issues with service or ptoduct
My rating would be "superlative" over multiple buy/sell/trade transactions.
I sold cameras and accessories to them and it took 19 days and a lot of emails from me to get paid. They only pay through your bank account routing and account number. Never again!
I have bought several Canon lenses from MPB. They describe the lenses they sell very accurately. The prices are fair and the service is prompt. They buy used products at very competitive prices. Their warranty is very good. In summary, they are one of the best companies to deal with.

I purchased an MB-D17 from them that arrived with ‘new car smell’ and warranty card.

PS. No need to troll me with ‘but you know you can’t activate the warranty card’”
