[quote=Real Nikon Lover]I have bought 7 items from them including 3 lenses. All perfectly good condition and delivered in time as promised. Customer service has been good when I inquired about item details and inclusions. You will only get what they say.....
A bit of caveat on this. If there is a conflict between the illustration and the item's write-up, the illustation is what you get. I recently was looking at MPB for a zoom lens and found what I was looking for but the picture did not show a foot. The written description, however, did specify that the lens had a foot. I e-mailed them to resolve the question and immediately got a reply stating that what was shown in the picture of the item was what you are buying, not what is listed in the description. Their item description for a given item are boiler-plate, if they have 20 of the same item classified as, say, "Good", the description is the same for all 20. I have just received a lens that I bought from them a few days ago and the lens was as new, shipped promptly, perfectly packaged, and it was a role-model transaction. MPB is a class operation.
I just bought a Z50 from them. It was a good experience.

Do any of you Hoggers have experience buying a used lens from MPB.com?
How would you rate your experience with them? A friend of mine is looking for a Canon EF 400mm 4.5-5.6 prime lens he saw one advertised from them on Canon Price Watch.com
I have bought from them in the past and they were excellent to deal with. I actually returned that camera with the return window and had no problems.
Fast forward to today…
I sent them my Nikon D7500 this morning as a trade on a used Nikon D500. Once they establish the condition of the D7500 (I think it’s in excellent condition) they will then deduct that price quote from the D500 and I will pay the remainder.
I have also had excellent experience with KEH as well.

Bought from them, all fine transactions. Sold to them, no problems there either (other than I could have done better $$ selling myself), but that is always the case selling to a "Reseller". Their rating system seems as good as or better than others, never any surprises to the negative side.
Too late... I just shipped my EF400mm 5.6L to MPB. they offered a reasonable price for it too. I bought it originally from them a couple of years ago and had no problems. I've bought and sold other lenses (and bodies) through them. Great to work with. Take the plunge!

I have bought and sold to them several times and every experience was top notch. In face, I would look to
purchase from them before any place else!.
I've bought used from MPB, from KEH and from B&H. In all cases, the equipment was at least as good as the stated rating (sometimes better).
MPB -- I just ordered a lens from them today, so you could say I'm happy with them. That being said -- before you buy, check out their return policy. I believe it's much shorter than KEH's so when you buy, check out the equipment quickly.
I have bought and sold at MPB. Excellent gear and sevice is top notch.
