Thanks for your typically friendly, American welcome, Horseart! Also your lovely compliment! I won't be cautious, and I am already halfway through a leap! Nice to hear from you, David.

Hi David, Welome to the HOG.
I love the photos

1, A good title would be ' Silence is Golden '
3, This one really is my favourite, Shows a wonderful use of light. Very, very impressive. Keep up the good work . Looking forward to seeing many more.

Just returned from visiting people in Norwich, whilst I was there, I took a look into the Anglican cathederal. I have seen may many stained glass windows over the years, but NEVER have I seen anything like I saw there. It even outdid things I saw at the Vatican in Rome. I definate photo next time I go to Norwich.

Keep em coming!. Norman

Normanc, first of all, let me say thanks for you nice welcome! secondly, many thanks also for the very pleasing compliments! Third, I agree with your suggestion 'Silence is Golden', would have also fit very well too! I get a lot of pleasure from trying to think up captions, although sometimes I do fall a little short. I can never resist going into an empty church when ever the opportunity arises, it's the lighting that's the lure. Like you I have also been to those places and enjoyed every minute,(it takes all kinds.)Cheers, David. P.S. my regards to you and Manchester.
