Call me old fashion but to me the female body is a graceful thing of beauty and should be photographed as such. Best done in nature, in the woods, by a waterfall, a beach, maybe with flowers or something like that. Somehow tattoos usually ruin the effect for me. In this case the tattoo while small still ruins the photo.

You, my friend, are old- fashioned.

Of the photographers on here I would say that most of your photos would be considered art. Perhaps you should look into publishing a book on the art of nude photography.

Thank you for saying so. I actually am planning just that. Probably will be self-published unless I get real lucky. I guess we’ll see what happens with it.

(By the way, I’m old-fashioned too. Not an insult, more of a compliment, if you ask me.)

Amoreena in glorious monochrome. Note the lighting: it’s something like 6 or 8 speed lights on the background aimed through different sized cardboard tubes from paper towels and the like. The subject lighting is pretty standard in nature. I think the two methods turn out a resulting photo that is eye catching.

I’ve shown it in full frame and in crop because I like it both ways. I like the full rendition because it shows the lighting that took about an hour to set up and shoot, I like the crop because it shows the detail that may be overlooked in the full frame treatment.

Thoughts?

Love 'em both. While the skin softening is a bit "done", I like the ethereal mood it creates. I'm in.
