Nude no. 139
Amoreena in glorious monochrome. Note the lighting: it’s something like 6 or 8 speed lights on the background aimed through different sized cardboard tubes from paper towels and the like. The subject lighting is pretty standard in nature. I think the two methods turn out a resulting photo that is eye catching.
I’ve shown it in full frame and in crop because I like it both ways. I like the full rendition because it shows the lighting that took about an hour to set up and shoot, I like the crop because it shows the detail that may be overlooked in the full frame treatment.
Thoughts?
Very nice. It's very delicate. The background effect mimics the 1940s glamour star background.

It looks good, the only thing I find issue with is that there appears to be some kind of skin smoothing done to the image which makes the skin look unnatural.
One of your best posts yet in my opinion.
The skin softening treatment is a little too strong for me but the simplicity of the composition would seem to call for it.
I like the second image. My eyes were drawn to body art on her arm in the first which distracted from the simplicity of the image.
I did lay on the skin softening button, but it’s what I wanted to achieve the dreamlike atmosphere of this particular piece.
Both excellent, but my preference is for the crop. A classy, classic image.
Excellent , thanks for posting these pictures
Call me old fashion but to me the female body is a graceful thing of beauty and should be photographed as such. Best done in nature, in the woods, by a waterfall, a beach, maybe with flowers or something like that. Somehow tattoos usually ruin the effect for me. In this case the tattoo while small still ruins the photo.
