Nice shots Nancy. Wild life is difficult but rewarding. These are 2 photos of a vulture and an eagle.

Terrific moose shot, imho. Best I’ve ever been able to do was the rear of a moose (head) with the rest of it happily settled into a marsh.

Some wonderful posts so far. I have some but they do come from the archives. Since it's the season - how about some wild turkeys. Sorry for the noise...they didn't look so noisy on my monitor.

Thanks Jayhawk! The moose was in the large park in Anchorage near the airport, Kincaid Park. So it must have been used to people. In fact, after eating, he walked straight towards us (we had to scramble to get out of his way)!
