Definitely #2. Colors are a little too saturated IMHO in #1 (especially the green) and the sky is distracting in #1.

I like the road in the second one, but the trees in the first one. I like seeing a bit more green amongst the yellows and oranges - as in the first one. But the road is more inviting in the second.

#2 has the stronger focal point which is the elevation of the road. This is lost in number #1 so there is no real focal point. #2 you really want to see what's on the other side.
