I subscribe to two photographers magazine. And yes, I purchase the "paper" form, rather than the digital form.

I'm curious to learn what magazines you all like, and perhaps why?

Outdoor Photography, a British publication (not to be confused with Outdoor Photographer) which in the US is very reasonable in digital form (and ridiculously expensive in print).

Great mix of inspiration and technique, and a good read.

Discontinued all of them.
I can see all they have and more from internet sources.
As for reading any more I sit with a book from my library or newly purchased.

There are fewer of them all the time. Try visiting Barnes & Noble - the last time I was there, they still carried several photo mags from the UK. Pricey, but better content than the very skinny US magazines.

Barnes & Noble seem to be the best.

Thank you for the recommendation to Outdoor Photography, your UK publication. Even the digital version is about $4 per digital month, when ordering the full year. I suspect I'll give that a try.

Now it's my turn to share a great 'secret', and it's a UK publication. It's Digital Camera. I've been subscribing to it for several years. I prefer the paper version which, for us USA people, it a bit pricy. But it's worth every penny.

As others have noted, the UK publications seem to have a lot more meat to actually read, so thanks I'll give that a try. I believe I've seen it on occasion at B&N.

Favorite photo magazine? Whatever my public library carries! The last time I purchased a photography magazine was so long ago, I don't remember what it was or when I bought it. Magazines in general have become ridiculously expensive.

Thank you for the tip. It looks like I can pick up back issues on Ebay for about $1.50 an issue.

No photography mags, but being a airplane buff I get Aviation History. I do agree with not getting a photo mag due to all the online info available. You might say the same is true of aviation but I'm a little biased and keep my mags to read again.

Outdoor photography. Why? Because it is available.

I gave up on Outdoor Photographer in 2019. In my opinion, it should have been named, "Professional Outdoor Photographer" as it never seemed to review a piece of equipment that cost under $2,000 and typical articles focused on how to get the best shots while on African safari or exploring a hidden valley in New Zealand.

I'll check out the UK version as MDI Mainer suggests. If it has some features an average enthusiast can make use of, I'll go with it.

Why not let us know what two you subscribe to?
