Because of the physical layout Michigan is not a "pass-through" state. The only place to get to by passing THROUGH Michigan is its Upper Peninsula, The U P as it is commonly called. The only thing to find in the U P is Youppers, and the can be reclusive. Ludington is just the beginning of the western shoreline. Hope you ventured further north to "God's Country." The Sleeping Bear is a photographer's dream. Then, there is THE bridge! C'mon UP!
Thanks davidrb.....for your wonderful comment on the Upper Peninsula. Yes....we have ventured further north in the past since Indiana & Michigan are such close neighbors. Loved Sleeping Bear and have many photographs of the area. Have also crossed over the bridge a few times. This trip to Ludington was made so we could catch the ferry over to Wisconsin which turned out to be more than expected. Thanks again, Bob
